The listed building is located on p.ed. 41 in the historic centre of Montagna. The building characterises the village centre through its position, presence and typology and has as yet unexploited potential.
Numerous rooms on a total of four floors characterise the property, which was last used by a social institution. The heart of the building is the well-preserved Tyrolean parlour with a traditional farm stove.
A study on the potential and conversion possibilities of the building has already been prepared in the course of a renovation consultation.

Location:
The small village of Montan/Montagna is situated at the edge of Naturpark Trudner Horn/Monte Corno nature park, surrounded by magnificent orchards and vineyards. The steep village centre of Montan is characterised by cobble stone alleys and colourful houses. The majestic parish church dates back to the 12th century and is dedicated to St. Bartholomew. High above the village is Schloss Enn/Castel d'Enna, built around 1172 by the Lord of Neumarkt/Egna. Dotted across a very sunny lynchet are the hamlets of Pinzon/Pinzano, Glen/Gleno, Gschnon/Casignano, Kalditsch/Doladizza and Kaltenbrunn/Fontanefredde, which are also part of the municipality of Montan in South Tyrol. The plateau is known for its typical vineyards where the best Pinot Noir wines of South Tyrol flourish.
